Anil Choudhary

Anil joined True North in 2017 as an Executive Advisor and is now Head - ESG at the firm. He leads Climate Action & Strategy within the firm and all partner companies.

Prior to joining True North, Anil was the Founder, Managing Director & CEO of National Bulk Handling Corporation Pvt. Ltd. (NBHC), one of India’s leading post-harvest services for agricultural commodities. Before joining NBHC in 2006, Anil had a brief stint at Multi Commodity Exchange as Vice President (Collateral Management) on deputation from SBI. He has been a professional banker, having worked with SBI for about 24 years in different capacities with assignments in India and the USA.

In ESG & climate fields, Anil has completed multiple certifications and training. Including Certification in Corporate Sustainability from NYU Stern Centre for Sustainable Business and CII Certified Sustainability Assessor.

Anil is an avid table tennis player and a cricket fan. In his spare time, Anil likes reading and travelling.
